Where passion meets craftsmanship
What began as a creative hobby in a small garage has blossomed into a thriving studio dedicated to handcrafted excellence.
Founded in 2014, our studio emerged from a simple desire to create beautiful, meaningful objects by hand. Nestled in the coastal town of Cardigan, Wales, we draw inspiration from the natural beauty surrounding us - from the dramatic cliffs to the rolling countryside.
Over the years, we've honed our skills in both macramé and ceramics, developing techniques that honor traditional craftsmanship while embracing contemporary design. Every piece that leaves our studio carries a piece of our story and the love we pour into our work.
Today, our creations grace homes across the UK and beyond, bringing warmth, character, and a touch of handmade soul to everyday living.
Macramé Artist
Sarah discovered macramé during travels through South America, where she learned traditional knotting techniques from local artisans. With a background in textile design, she brings a keen eye for pattern and texture to every piece.
Her work is characterized by intricate geometric patterns and an innovative use of color and natural materials. Sarah finds meditation in the repetitive knotting process and believes each piece carries the peaceful energy of its creation.
Specialty: Large-scale wall hangings, dream catchers
Ceramic Artist
James trained in traditional pottery techniques at a renowned ceramics school in Devon. His passion for functional art drives him to create pieces that are both beautiful and practical for everyday use.
Drawing inspiration from Japanese aesthetics and Welsh nature, James's hand-painted designs feature botanical motifs, abstract patterns, and organic forms. Each piece is wheel-thrown and individually decorated with careful attention to detail.
Specialty: Hand-painted dinnerware, decorative vases
In a world of mass production and instant gratification, we embrace the slow craft movement. Each piece requires time, patience, and mindful attention. We believe the investment of time and care results in objects of lasting value and beauty.
We're committed to environmental responsibility. Our materials are sourced ethically - organic cotton cord, recycled clay, and non-toxic glazes. We minimize waste through careful planning and repurpose scraps whenever possible.
We believe in fostering community through craft. We regularly host workshops, collaborate with local artisans, and support other makers. Our studio is a space where creativity flourishes and knowledge is shared.
